WASHINGTON D.C. -- Chairman John Moolenaar wrote to the President of Harvard University today, seeking answers after students were forcibly removed by an unidentified individual during an April event with the Chinese Ambassador Xie Feng. The students sought to bring attention to the Chinese Communist Party’s horrendous record of human rights abuses. During the incident, an alleged Harvard student from China dragged one of the students out of the event. Following the incident, another Harvard student grew afraid after an alleged event organizer approached her and sought the names of students who challenged the Ambassador.

The Fentanyl Policy Working Group will be led by Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) and Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D-MA). Reps. Neal Dunn (R-FL), Ro Khanna (D-CA), Dusty Johnson (R-SD), Ritchie Torres (D-NY), and Michelle Steel (R-CA) will also serve on the Fentanyl Policy Working Group.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Chairman John Moolenaar (R-MI) and Ranking Member Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) of the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party called on the U.S. Department of Justice and the International Olympic Committee to launch a formal inquiry, seeking immediate action and transparency following the World’s Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) decision to allow Chinese swimmers to participate in the 2021 Olympics after testing positive for illegal substances. The letter was also signed by Reps. Carlos Gimenez (R-FL) and Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN).
