A friend from China told me an old joke: Under the CCP the future is predictable, but it’s hard to know what is going to happen in the past. 

Following the Chinese Communist Party ban of Micron, Mike Gallagher (R-WI), Chairman of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, and Michael McCaul (R-TX), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, sent a letter to Secretary of Commerce, Gina Raimondo, calling on Commerce to work with Japan and South Korea to ensure their companies do not take market share lost to the ban and undercut Micron.

Mike Gallagher (R-WI), Chairman of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, sent letters to Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, and President of Alfred University, Mark Zupan, with concern that Alfred University continues to host a Confucius institute on campus and retain close ties with a Chinese research university, while receiving a $13.5 million grant from the Department of Defense for sensitive hypersonic weapons research.

TEN FOR TAIWAN: Policy Recommendations to Preserve PEACE and STABILITY in the Taiwan Strait

The Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party overwhelmingly adopted its policy proposals to enhance Taiwan's deterrence. These bipartisan set of proposals follow the Select Committee's April wargame that showcased the horrifying costs of a deterrence failure in the Indo-Pacific.

The Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party unanimously adopted its policy proposals to help end the CCP's ongoing Uyghur genocide. This bipartisan set of policy recommendations stem from the Select Committee's March hearing that featured a witness and a survivor of the CCP's ongoing Uyghur genocide.

Select Committee Members in London met with members of the UK Parliament. 

“CCP aggression is global, and the United States and United Kingdom face common economic, military and ideological threats posed by the CCP." said Chairman Gallagher. “For the sake of both our nations and the sake of the free world, we must work hand in hand to stand up to CCP tech theft, United Front work, transnational repression and flagrant violations of our sovereignty.”
