Mike Gallagher (R-WI), Chairman of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party and Roger Williams (R-TX), Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business today delivered a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland seeking insight into the DOJ's efforts to combat Chinese intellectual property theft. The Chairmen seek a detailed briefing no later than June 30th to discuss DOJ’s initiatives to protect American small businesses from illegal CCP IP theft.

Following the Chinese Communist Party ban of Micron, Mike Gallagher (R-WI), Chairman of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, and Michael McCaul (R-TX), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, sent a letter to Secretary of Commerce, Gina Raimondo, calling on Commerce to work with Japan and South Korea to ensure their companies do not take market share lost to the ban and undercut Micron.

Chairman Gallagher calls on Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo to add blacklisted Chinese supercomputing company Inspur’s subsidiaries to the Entity List to stop U.S. technology firms from bypassing the restrictions on Inspur by simply shipping to those subsidiaries.
