This morning, Chairman Mike Gallagher (R-WI) and Ranking Member Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party hosted Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Daniel Kritenbrink, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs, Ely Ratner, and Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration, Thea Rozman Kendler, in a hearing titled "The Biden Administration's PRC Strategy". |
The Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party will hold a hearing on July 26th at 7:00 p.m., in the Cannon Caucus Room, 390 Cannon House Office Building.
The hearing is titled "Commanding Heights: Ensuring U.S. Leadership in the Critical and Emerging technologies of the 21 Century".
The witnesses for the hearing will be:
• Mr. Josh Wolfe, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Lux Capital
• Mr. William Evanina, Former Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center & CEO of The Evanina Group

Early in President Biden’s term, there seemed to be broad continuity in the Administration’s China strategy.
While not perfect, I’d go as far as to say that, for CCP-realists like myself, there was a lot to like.
