Alfred University Closes Confucius Institute as a Result of Select Committee Investigation

WASHINGTON, DC – On June 14, 2023, Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI), Chairman of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party received notice from Alfred University that the school will close its CCP-affiliated Confucius Institute as a result of the Select Committee's investigation that began on May 31, 2023.
