Xi’s Visit to the National Archives Should Inspire Him to Let the Chinese People Live Freely

Today, Chairman John Moolenaar of the Select Committee on China made the following statement on CCP General Secretary Xi Jinping's visit to the National Archives Museum.:

"America’s values are life and liberty for all people, while the values of Xi Jinping and the Chinese Community Party are tyranny, genocide, and oppression,” said Moolenaar. "We can only hope that Xi Jinping’s visit to the home of America's founding documents inspires him to end his cruel policies and allow the Chinese people to have freedom of expression, freedom of religion, and free, prosperous lives. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution have inspired freedom around the world. Americans can be proud that our nation’s founding principles and our efforts to form a more perfect union are superior in every way to the authoritarian rule of Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party.”
