Moolenaar: Trump Administration Cracks Down on CCP Slave Labor, Strengthens UFLPA Entity List
Chairman John Moolenaar of the Select Committee on China made the following statement regarding the Department of Homeland Security updating the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act Entity List:
"Today’s action by the Trump administration strengthens America’s economy against products made with slave labor and sends a message to the Chinese Communist Party that we will not look the other way on its genocide and human rights abuses. We are a freedom-loving country, and we will not allow China to export products made with slave labor into our country. The brutal acts of inhumanity committed against the Uyghurs remind all of us there is no greater oppressor of the Chinese people, and minorities living in China, than the CCP. The Select Committee will continue to seek strict compliance with and enforcement of U.S. laws against slave labor connected to Xinjiang.”
