Moolenaar, Mast, and Crawford Seek Briefing from Jensen Huang on Ties to Chinese Intelligence Asset
Chairman John Moolenaar of the House Select Committee on China, Chairman Brian Mast of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Chairman Rick Crawford of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence sent a letter to NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang requesting his participation in a joint, closed-door briefing. The letter details the lawmakers’ concerns regarding Huang’s interactions with Megaspeed executive Alice Huang, a publicly reported Chinese intelligence asset, and the company's security protocols against foreign adversary espionage.
“Recent reports raise significant national security concerns regarding the PRC’s access to sensitive U.S. technology and information,” the chairmen wrote. “The issue of PRC infiltration and access to cutting-edge U.S. technology is core to the investigative work of our three committees this Congress. It is vital that Congress determines the extent to which U.S. national security has been placed at risk.”
In the letter to Huang, the chairmen requested that he brief the committees on November 18, 2026. Mr. Huang must accept the invitation or provide alternative availability by November 11, 2026.
