Moolenaar: Greenland Agreement a Victory for the American People

Chairman John Moolenaar of the Select Committee on China made the following statement on the Trump Administration’s agreement on Greenland with Denmark:

“Permanently controlling Greenland’s security is a tremendous victory for President Trump and the American people. Greenland is home to critical minerals that will power the future and it can never fall under the control of China or Russia. China has often tried to stake false illegitimate claims in the Arctic and this agreement will ensure it never has a foothold in Greenland.”
