Over the past two years, the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party and the Committee on Education and the Workforce’s (Committees) investigations revealed how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) exploits U.S. universities—and gains access to U.S. government-funded research—to fuel its military and technological rise.

Recent war games show the United States would run out of key weapons in a matter of days during a Taiwan invasion scenario.

Chairman John Moolenaar (R-MI) of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party and Congressman Greg Murphy M.D. (R-NC) sent sent a letter urging United States Secretary of the Treasury, Janet Yellen to include U.S. Coast Guard facilities and other sensitive sites under the jurisdiction of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). The letter also asks the Secretary to hold CFIUS reviews retroactively when a site is newly added to CFIUS’s list of sensitive sites. As our adversaries encroach on U.S.

The Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party overwhelmingly adopted its policy proposals to enhance Taiwan's deterrence. These bipartisan set of proposals follow the Select Committee's April wargame that showcased the horrifying costs of a deterrence failure in the Indo-Pacific.
